This is a list of just some of the awards I have received over the years. I have volunteered most of my life for several organizations and am in a constant state of learning. Because of this, I have received a tremendous number of certificates, awards, and certifications; some which are listed below.
The President’s Volunteer Service Award
About the Award
America has a long and proud tradition of volunteer service. Now, more than ever, volunteers are renewing their commitment to help others and making new connections that bring us closer together as families, as neighbors, as communities and as a nation.
The President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation (the Council) was established in 2003 to recognize the valuable contributions volunteers are making in our communities and encourage more people to serve.
The Council created the President’s Volunteer Service Award program as a way to thank and honor Americans who, by their demonstrated commitment and example, inspire others to engage in volunteer service. The program continues as an initiative of the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS).
United States Patents
Recorded United States Patents while working at AT&T in their research division. Most of this activities involved researching how to get cable modems to work above 33 MB/s. The patents support our very popular Fast Channel technology which is part of DOCSIS standards.
This technology is the core reasons why cable modems can go above 100 MB and is still a core technology used in home broadband technology today.

US Coast Guard Aux Awards
The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary (USCG Aux) is the uniformed auxiliary service of the United States Coast Guard (USCG). Congress established the USCG Aux on June 23, 1939, as the United States Coast Guard Reserve.
On February 19, 1941, it was re-designated the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. The Auxiliary exists to support all USCG missions except roles that require “direct” law enforcement or military engagement. As of 2018, there were approximately 24,000 members of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.
I have over 21 years of service in the USCG aux with 10 letters of commendation. During this time, I have spend over 10 years at the U.S. National level where I managed teams of developers who designed, built, and supported over 20 government websites. I have had many leadership positions over the years reaching the position of Division Chief (equivalent to a full Commander).

Technical Advisory Committee
I was appointed to the Tinton Falls Technical Advisory Committee from 2009 to 2011 by the Mayor and Borough of Tinton Falls.
The Technical Advisory Committee was established in August 2006 by Borough Ordinance No.06-1193. The Committee meets at Borough Hall and consists of volunteers, appointed by Mayor and Council, whose purpose is to provide expert advice to the administration on technological issues. (The first official meeting was held on October 19th, 2006).
During my service to the Borough Tinton Falls, I have advised the Mayor and Council on topics including technology on the new Borough Hall, Solar power and Wind technology, Green Initiatives, and other technologies. The committee was released in 2011 until needed again.
